My son, one of his friends and myself went for lunch today. I was thoroughly impressed with Riley and Channel. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our food. Riley is an excellent server that provided a wonderful dining experience. Channel is amazing she came to our table and asked what she could do better to coach her team. That spoke volumes with me. We will return.
In Salisbury on Saturday for a girls day. While walking around town a local man recommended this place. So glad we took his recommendation. Lunch was great. We split 2 appetizers, the fried pickle spears with dip and the spinach and artichoke dip with chips. And our meals were delicious. We each got a small salad as our sides. We had the chicken quesadilla, the sloppy Joe grilled cheese and the ultimate grilled cheese. Our server did a great job with explaining items and talking about favorites and popular items. She was very helpful and friendly. Definitely a place I would come back to again!
The seasonal cocktails Angie make are always on point. The chili ranch dip is our go to. Honestly it’s nice to come have an app and few cocktails and just relax for a moment in a chill environment with kind people.
City Tavern is becoming a favorite for downtown Salisbury for us. We have been thoroughly satisfied each time we have been. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. The servings are large; we normally have leftovers to take home. We have gotten great service each time we have gone. We have been seated quickly and served promptly. Their homemade ranch dressing is especially yummy!
Came here for the drinks but the food was so good to. Our server Niki was the absolute best.
This was a great experience dining at City Tavern. Bethany was our server, and she was so nice and friendly. She explained about the different options on their menu. It took us a while to decide on what we were going to eat, and Bethany was so patient with us, and told us to take our time and kept checking back with us. We had the crispy brussel leaves as an appetizer. My date had the shrimp tacos, with a side salad. I had the 10-ounce barrel cut filet., with mashed potatoes and green beans. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. It is a very relaxed environment with outdoor and indoor seating along with seating at the bar. They have a lot of different options of food and drinks on their menu. They have several tv's with different things playing on them around the bar. Stop in and check them out when you are near and ask for Bethany as your server. She was great.
Party of four and all of us were pleased with our meals. The waitress was great and very accommodating when we asked for an outdoor seating option because it was noisy inside. Food arrived fairly quickly.
Everyone was wonderful! People were so kind to our kids, food was great! Bartender makes a great Manhattan. I forget what Jonathan’s salad was called but it was basically a steak & blue cheese salad and was delicious. 12/10 recommend. I had a burger and it was delicious!
